If your pets spend anytime outside its a good idea to give them heart worm pills. It is spread by mosquito bites so it is cridical during warm weather. I love my dogs too quadman and I will be thinking about you and be praying. Sorry again.

I'm hanging in here... it's not easy when one of the babies is sick... I guess she caught the heart worms during playtime outside... Dogs are very good companionship......thanks for the advice...

Click here to see the profile of this user 		Re:Chewing on a bone... - 2008/07/12 19:11 Sammie went to the animal hospital this past Thursday and received one potent shot... she stayed in the hospital all day Thursday and Thursday night... then Friday morning she received another potent shot... we were worried that she wasn't going to make it... then Friday afternoon at 5 p.m. she was picked up from the animal hospital... all evening and throughout the night she just laid in one position we weren't able to sleep very well... then this morning we all woke up and Sammie was doing better everyone thinks she will make it now the worst part is over

Takes you to llook at your dog/cat if it is eating loads, but skinny, it prop has worms.

Hope all is well, fingers still crossed for you, our animals mean the world to us.
