Wheelchairs - 2007/06/25 23:17 I am in desperate need of a new one and am struggling to find over £5k for it!

Apparently now if you want comfort, you have to pay for it (god yes!!) otherwise settle for cheap NHS!

Any ideas?

I have written to many, many charities and some are 'involving me in meetings' but not an answer or very optimistic!

I don't see why we should fork out so much for something we need and in order to live independantly!

It takes the pee
