| Had to go for a test re a possible circulation problem....so I received a letter giving me the date and saying that I would need to rest for between 10 and 20 minutus before having the test.

| A study has linked a small number of cases of cerebral palsy to antibiotics given to women in premature labour.
The UK study found 35 cases of cerebral palsy in 769 children of women without early broken waters given antibiotics.

This is my 23rd year living with disabilities... | Like you Loz a whole year has gone by since our brush with death. I want to say a big thank-you to my friends and family, especially my daughter Anna for looking after me so well when I had undiagnosed acute hydrocephalus. | today is the day a year ago i nearly died because of my condition and i will be celebrating being alive hopefully having a great day and go for a meal with family :)

| My electric wheelchair has gone in today to get repaired. Im missing it already, its so frustrating not being able to move around. It was still working but I needed
a new seat (big hole was in it)
a new backrest as it was ripped
The on/off switch was taped on lol
loose footrests
loose pint holder (very important)

| I was driving in my wheelchair, I saw this man waiting at the bus stop I just looked away and then I saw the man's shopping bags in the front of me. So I turned sharpy sharply and thank gooddness I missed them by a whisker. The shopping bags were about 4 feet away from him so I don't look for shopping bags in the middle of the footpath.

A free pizza

| I went to the pizza shop after pub on Friday. They know me very well, and the shop is great for wheelchair access. They tape the pizza box to my legs so I don't drop it on the way home. I have educated them very well.
When I arrived home I found the pizza was really burnt but I still ate most of it as I was a little drunk oops.

I have just had my first appointment with a lovely Occupational therapist, that came to my house to assess my needs. She was really nice and we had quite a giggle really. She says that an electric wheel chair would be mroe suitable for my "Bad days" so that I can still be independant, YES!! I can still be stubborn and I'll be motorised so WATCH OUT!!! LOL!!

| I have just blown up my £2,400 self made talker. Oops. I attached a cd drive to update the software but cd drive wasn't reading the cd so the manual said to add external power to the cd drive and then the tablet died on me oops. Im ok as the warranty is for 3 years. phew
