I have a ten year old daughter,I was 36 when i fell for her and was told it best to think about the test.I went to see the midwife,Whom spoke to me about it. I had heard even then that you could loss your baby after such a test,So I said no. I made this child. I will care for it. Its still mine,If its born with a so called problem,We will work it out.She then said,What do your other kids feel about it then? My others then were 18,17,13. I told her what they had said,When i ask the same of them... They each in turn look at me, With a quizzical look on their faces and said.... We will love it.its our baby. So im sorry to say i would never have the test done. Each to their own. If you feel the need go ahead.But get all the info before you do.
My Ricia was born fit and well.i love her with all my heart and if she had been born unwell my heart would still of loved her as much. |
