Had to visit the Drs surgery and as husband was busy I took a taxi, well two turned up, either none or two. My friend said to phone her and she would pick me up,( using my new to me mobile phone) and having studied and studied on how to use it.

She saw my husband said to him "Mavis rang and asked me to pick her up" ran to the car and set off.

I was just directing her to a wider space to allow for my wheelchair when....guess what? husband turned up in our car.

 He THOUGHT she had said " Mavis rang and wants you to pick her up"

I  am the one who wears a hearing aid!!!! scream!
