Hi I tried to post a video hosted on my own server but it would not be accepted.
Are the only video hosting allowed only from vimeo.com and youtube.com.
allowed on this site.
I wanted to post the film....

If you go to video section at top you should be able to post a video on there, if you read user guide it explains how to upload a video, you will find the user guide in the blue box on the left hand side of the page. If you still have any problems please let me know.

I went through the instructions but it will not let me post from my server.
seems you only post from vimeo.com, youtube.com . ect...
will just post a direct link..think it will allow people to watch the movie

I have my own server and I have films Music Well lots of stuff & I was trying to link it to this site but it not compatible as this forum only allows links from vimeo.com, youtube.com . ect..
Its not a real problem as all forums have different posting rules.
I am enjoying reading this forum and chatting to people.
So posting stuff is not a real problem, I just thought people would like to watch the film 'Alex Brooker Disability and Me'... No Idea if the film is on youtube as I do not like the youtube site...lol

yes and their cookies are invasive, well I think so, full of trackers.
I am chatting with my brother he is in to coding and forum/website building.
all forums have to be very careful with posting and pirating media that is copyrighted. I might have gigs of music but I am not allowed to post it online to share or play to others well I think that is the way it go's.. think there was a rule put out about hot-linking images from other site to your forum, we have to be so careful on the web now !! it is like fences being put up to stop people sharing their media with others.
