Yes I am disabled. But I don't like being referred to in these terms;

1) I don't like the term "Wheelchair Bound" My chair is an instrument of freed and in no way causes me to be bound.

2) I dislike the term "Confined to a wheelchair". I dislike it for the same reason as the first one.

How do you feel about these terms

I don't like both of those terms, I like to add a bit of comedy to everything like calling my wheelchair my Ferrari. Also if people are feeling awkward when talking to you if you can make them laugh it makes everything easier for both of you. Terms and labels are what are put on us we can change that if we want.

I don't "Term" anything or anyone..... I never need to explain what is visibly simple to any intelligent person :)
