Handdicare is Very poor service, I have been waiting for them to repair my lift for 8 days, so I have been sleeping on the floor downstairs.


My new Pollock lift is about 2 yrs old now and it keeps breaking down. Basically, these Pollock lifts are rubbish because they are always breaking down.

Handicare is a rubbish service too as you don’t keep the parts for the lifts so I have to sleep downstairs on the floor as the parts are coming from Ireland.

i have a pollock lift so i know what shit ur goin through with em, up were i am they use a company called ALINE see if your able to change companies for services with me the latest i've had to wait for a engineer was 4 HOURS

I would make a complaint they shouldn't leave you in that position Karl!!

I chant change company as my warrenty is with Handicare.

I got the same problems in the past. I contacted Handicare to try to get some help for my elderly neighbour's Freecurve stair lift. And their support didnt even help me to solve my problem. But thanks to them cause after i bought this and it helped me to lose some weight in just few month and it even put me on my feet after 6 month of using. So that kind of staff is amazing - all i can say. Now i dont need to call to that thiefs from Handicare.

I'm afraid a lot of companies are like that, if you don't keep paying up the warranty we don't care about you. Money talks as they say!! The best thing you can do is find an independent stairlift repairman/company (there are a lot about). Get the best quote and go with that. Then make sure you trash Handicare on social media, bad social media is poor for business!!

iF the warrenty is out of date, try calling a local lift company to repair it.
