Now in the U.K and Europe we are having this hot weather it's very easy to forget your pets but please remember they will suffer in the heat. I know this is said all the time but please if you see a dog in a car the new law is:- Never leave your dog alone in a car on a warm day. If you see a dog in distress in a hot car, dial 999. Many people still believe that it's ok to leave a dog in a car on a warm day if the windows are left open or they're parked in the shade, but the truth is, it's still a very dangerous situation for the dog.

In your home it's a good idea to have extra bowls of water around your home so your dog or cat can have a drink if they get hot where ever in the home. We have an extra bowl of water upstairs in our bathroom and our two really appreciate it.

Frozen pet mats you can buy from pet stores & you can make your own frozen pet ice lollies there are lots of recipes on google and bing.
Please think of your poor pets in the heat and do all you can to keep them comfortable.

I agree with you, actully in ourpetsmag.com/ blog there is a lot of nice advice how to care for hot wather.

Thank you for adding this link to the pet site, it does have some good topics. Though at the moment in most of the world the problem isn't heat but cold!! It's horrible in the U.K with snow in the North and storms in the south!!
