Type of Disability
Epilepsy
I had a near-death experience as a child that caused me to develop my disability. I lost most of my friends and people that were close over time based upon life changes with it. I want to know and talk to different people in order to relate to them.
Currently enrolled as a doctoral research scholar in Commerce. I am simple and open minded according to me. But I am contextual too and mostly behave up with the environment in which he is in. I love to make friends and like to travel. I don't have any specific criteria for friendship. I believe human is basically good and see the past as an opportunity to learn. To me error is human and the success depends on the ability to understand and correct mistakes. I usually stay optimistic. I try my best to stay assertive and will express my opinion fearlessly.
Evaluating myself is very hard, I think a better conversation can have a better understanding rather than a 300 word write up about self.

'True blue' is supposed to derive from the blue cloth that was made at Coventry, England in the late middle ages. The town's dyers had a reputation for producing material that didn't fade with washing, that is, it remained 'fast' or 'true'. The phrase 'as true as Coventry blue' originated then and is still used (in Coventry at least).

I enjoy meeting new people from all around the world. I truly enjoy a great conversation about almost anything. Music is my passion....Yes I am a rocker chic, metal maven and love to rock my tushy off. I am a constant seeker of knowledge and enjoy learning new things daily. I may be quiet at first, (naturally) but beware...after I get to know someone...the laughter and giggles will be contagious. I enjoy people who think outside of the box and not follow the masses. Being unique is the best quality that we all possess. I am empathetic and truly care for all humanity. My entire career has been in the field of Pediatrics...my heart has been fulfilled with helping sick children and aiding their families. I have been blessed with 2 gorgeous sons who are grown 22 and 27 years old. My husband passed away when they were so young 2 and 8 years old. I concentrated only on raising my sons and making sure that I did everything to fulfill their hearts of missing their Daddy growing up and providing them the best private education offered. I'm an extremely proud Mommy. Although...my sons' friends always think that I'm their sister not their Mommy....lol I actually feel young. I've never smoked. I take care of my mind, body and soul. I sure have had a lifetime of FUN!! Life should be fun & enjoyed every single day, even when things seem bad...tomorrow will always be brighter. Whomever is reading this...YOU are amazingly awesome!!? LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL!! Live it, Love it, Enjoy it, Seize the day and be proud of who you are....YOU ARE PERFECT!!

I am a calm happy and content person most of the time. The lockdown is making things a little harder. I spend way too much time alone. I would like to make some new friends talk with and maybe help each other company.

My children are my pride and joy but I will be all alone soon as the last one leaves for college. I have a few family members who still talk to me but no friends. It’s a very lonely existence. ?
Type of Disability
Paraplegic / Quadriplegic
I'm a 16 year old girl from Ireland. Due to my disabilities (mainly paralysis) I don't do a whole lot. I'm a C5 complete quadriplegic meaning I'm paralyzed around the collarbone down with no feeling or movement below that. I can use parts of my arms though they are very weak. I mainly use a power chair to get around if I go out. At home I might use a manual though that usually requires me getting help from my carer Maria quite a bit since my arms are so weak from paralysis in most of the muscles. I go to school mainly with my power chair but I may go with my manual and have my friends push me around! My carer helps me with most things such as getting out of bed, eating (though I can eat on my own once she puts on special equipment to hold the knife and fork for me), dressing, washing etc. I love talking to people even if I'm not great at it so don't feel scared to message me!
Very social person who likes to have fun.
