Poet's Corner

Wondered whether you might like to have a stab at writing a limerick or poem. I'll kick off anyway, then maybe, when you see the standard doesn't have to be very high, you may fancy having a go! LOL :laugh:

There is a place that I hold dear,
Which I know is always very near,
If ever I feel dreary_
It makes me feel quite cheery,
That place? - why, it's called Able Here!

There was a young lady named Bubba
who was a very strange mother
her babies where furry
her pride & joy, are often purry,
a girl & boy
But always got her up early!!

Hey - I think it's brilliant - thanks (nothing can be worse than mine!!)

There was a young? girl called Sue,
Who liked to drink Irn Bru.
She thought it was whisky,
Which made her quite frisky,
Now she doesn't know WHAT to do!

Very good! We're pretty OK at this!

Time

I always enjoyed being busy,
Loved getting gratification from my boss,
The feeling I got when my alarm went off in the morning
knowing where I was going.

But this evil thing took that away with the swipe of a hand
Leaving me with this dark tunnel
not knowing where I'm going
And now I have only time.




This is my 1st time at writing Poetry, not sure if it's correct, just came out of me!
