Finally! Sunshine and comfortable. Not a cloud in the sky!

Beautiful day yesterday here in Little Redditch, lovely and warm temp hitting 20oc! :woohoo: Will it get there today? Looking a bit dull so far temp is 19oc just need the sun to come out!

WOW :woohoo: What an amazing storm yesterday! It started around 9.30am and didn't finish till 11.45am! The skies went black as night and the thunder rumbled shaking my house and the lightening was above my house and the bolts went across the sky and there where two of them. It was great but I have to admit I was a little spooked because of how dark it went! Beautiful but there where lives lost due to the flash flooding, where I live we where lucky because we're on a decline so all the water went down the hill, I have never seen rain like that of yesterday the only way I can describe is imagine someone running a bath that's what the rain was like! Hopefully today will be a quieter day weather wise!

Amanda, do you ever get tornadoes in England? If I see the sky that dark here, I'm on the computer watching the weather radar and listening to weather band radio. The lightening sounds beautiful, though. I've loved to watch storms since I was a little kid.

Today for us, hot, humid, expected storms by evening.

Very hot, 91 degrees F, up to 100 degrees F by midweek, I've read. A lot of the rest of the country is really suffering right now, with temps. in the 110's F. Power outages from storms and overuse, states and counties being declared disaster areas from loss of crops and livestock, and sadly, there will be deaths in this kind of heat wave. Hope it passes soon.

It's dark as night and heavy rain here in the midlands! Hope we will see some sun soon it's getting depressing!

At last, a bit of a break from the super hot weather. Still quite warm but not as humid.

Today we have sunshine in the midlands! Need to make the most of it as we are due rain showers and plumating temps through the week!
