I've lived in France for 26 years and lost my husband 2 years ago at the age of 68. I am a TEFL teacher but most of my career I was an air stewardess with BA. I am adventurous and of course love travelling. I also love wheelchair sports and especially dancing although I'm not confined to a wheelchair as I walk with 2 crutches. I've had MS for 47 years, only diagnosed though in 1992. I'm looking for a caring man who can make me laugh and who shares my interests. Most importamnt though is that he is a Christian but I don't belong to a particular church. Would be nice if he had grandchildren as love children, having started my career as an infant teacher. I've got a son in Leicester and a grandaughter,14,and grandson,12.

I am a fighter/survivor.. I have had numerous surgery's from open heart to vascular on both legs. January Friday the 13th.. I lost the fight with my right leg and became an amputee, but I have not lost the fight to enjoy my family and enjoying every day God has given me.. I won't say there aren't days when it is hard to keep a smile on my face,i am sure everyone has that problem,.But I keep fighting so I can see my granddaughters graduate, the youngest is in kindergarten, so you can see I have a long fight ahead. I often feel old. And I love being short. I don't really know what to say here. I am interested in a myriad of things that you must ask about in order to learn more.
But I will tell you I enjoy greatly the process of reading a book. Or anything really. Reading to me is a great time to get away. It is a time when you can let
yourself just go to another place for a bit. You have to use your imagination. It is not like the movies where you have everything set for you. The characters look how
you want them too. The accents spoken with are all in your mind. The set is staged just they way you want it. It is not what the director thinks and you are stuck.
Being able to read means being able to use your mind. And that is a process I love.
I love animals and family. I like to go out to movies, dinner swimming. I don't like watching sports on t.v. but do like to go to a hockey game or car race. I am full
figured and on disability for arthritis or the knees. I am able to go out and do things but am limited on how long I can walk. I have 2 nieces and a newphew I raised
and am very close to. They live on there own but do visit often. I live with my sister. I am of the L.D.S. religion but am not attending church at this time. I do
believe in christian values. I believe in God, in being faithful, trusting, honest, kind to others and to animals. I enjoy my life to the fullest. I am looking for a
woman with the same qualities.
