I have a background in Computer Engineering, I am presently working as a writer, I am a published author. I have experienced aesthetic discrimination in the workplace in the past. Business people must have thought that I don't look right for their office. I have trouble extending my right arm from elbow down, so it has been more a social impairment than a physical one. I am finally interested in meeting other with disabilities since I now have the strength to empathize and find solutions to others' problems. I write self-help books and I am very optimistic. I feel that only another disabled person can truly understand me. It's time to make REAL friends.

I am currently in graduate school at the University of Central Florida studying School Psychology. I am taking one class called Exceptional Children in Schools. I am required to have a pen pal who has a disability or an individual who is involved with an individual with disabilities. For this activity, I will need to regularly communicate with you throughout this semester (until December). I will communicate to you issues, topics, and ideas that I am learning about and it would be great if you could also deepen my understanding of Exceptional Education.

My disability, though invisible and leaving me physically and mentally functional, has made success in most areas in life a struggle. I'm my own worst enemy most of the time.
I struggle especially with traditional school, so I'm mostly an autodidact (self-taught), but I'd like to go someday.
I want to find my voice and purpose in areas related to social issues/controversies and disabilities. I want to help people find real results and real help where there isn't any.
God is a big part of my life, though I won't push it on you. I can never deny the hand he's had in my life.
