I am 58 years old I have been in a wheelchair for about 11 years with rhuematoid arthritis. I live with my youngest son who is 30. I used to be an art teacher am now retired. I like doing craft things, painting making cards etc.I am quite a large lady and have a good sense of humour which I need as I am being rebuilt by the doctors a bit at a time!!!I bomb around in an electric wheelchair. I have been divorced for 30 years but would like to think I am not quite on the scrapheap yet.
Once very active and successful Retail Surervisor, I became Disabled after 2 collapsed lungs, COPD, Emphysema, and so far this year 2 pneumonias. I am under Hospice Care @ Home and have no Friends. I DO Live an alternative lifestyle.

But that dosent stop me from being active and social. I enjoy hanging out with friends, walking my dog, and am a regular at the gym as well as active at my church.
