Special interests and talking to people about said interest

Does anyone else feel like talking about they're fave things or special interests bores people? I know i do

Well 'NO!' because that's how you get to know someone!! If your looking to find someone to make a connection with and don't know what music they like or what hobbies they like?

My sister doesn't get my interests

Some people may not GET your interests! As everyone has their own interests, some people don't get why I'm such a huge Prince fan and others do. It's the way of the world! Life would be boring if we all had the same interests!!

if they wish to know u they will show interest in ur interests to understand u more

If person(s) truly care about you they will listen to what you have to say and share some of their hobbies and interests

Exactly!! So if you both share hobbies great, but if you don't that doesn't matter. My husband wasn't a Prince fan when I met him, but he got to listen to some of his music (he had no choice!! LOL!!) and came to some of his concerts which he found he enjoyed after the 1st one. So now he enjoys Prince but not to the extent I do and I enjoy some of his music tastes.

It would be a very boring world if everyone enjoys doing the same stuff in life, don't put yourself down because someone else will! you need more confidence in yourself! My friends have got hobbles that are no interest to me IE rock climbing because I am disabled and there is no way I could ever dream of doing that sort of hobble!.. but I wouldn't ever be rude to someone I'll still enjoying hearing what they had been up to because they are friends.
