Sleep

With Blinking eyes,she comes to life,
awaken by her naughty cats twice!
This is not the only day, it's the fifth!
And now their Mummy is rather miffed.
Sleep is such a precious thing,
needed like a bird needs his wing.
We need enough to get through our day,
Without we're useless when it's taken away!

Cold

Fingers numb and hands feeling of ice,
Coat buttoned up, scarf wrapped tight,
opening the door the cold hits your face,
But you venture on must get to your place.

The cold has many disguises many different ego's,
depending on the day your sure to met one,
So wrap up, get ready put your armour on,
The colds ready to fight, but it's a fight you've won.

My Laptop

My Laptop is my best friend,
even though it can drive me round the bend!
Spouting stuff I don't understand, do this,update that.
It scares me to think it wins the spats.
You need to be a geek to understand it all,
otherwise I would through the laptop at the wall!
I might as well admit it now,
My laptop is the boss, holy cow!!

The stars all shimmer in the night,
They glisten and glimmer all shiny bright.
The moon glows dimly in the sky,
A shooting star glances by.
What a myriad of light
Adorns the earth - it's quite a sight.

I like white wine, but cannot drink red,
for then I get drunk, as it goes to my head,
there's no use you looking
for my Christmas cooking,
if you're really that hungry,
then eat chips instead!

Winter

It's so cold outside,
even the birds are wearing onesies!
Squirrels are out wearing long-johns.
Foxes are protrolling with mittens on their paws.
It's such a cold winter that I'm staying indoors.



Not my greatest but wanted to do something funny!!
