When I was a teenager, I suffered from depression.
I got help with.
I learned coping skills.
I learned how to communicate my feelings.
I use to hold things in, which I latter found out was not healthy or wise.
I also learned it is ok not to be ok, and it is ok to ask for help.
I would love to help others on here, and meet some new online friends, only.
I am from The United States.
I also come from a leadership background in Peer Support as well.
I am also trained as an Emotional Care Provider.
I was trained online through Vibrant.
In 2019, I was trained as an active listener through 7cups.
While at 7cups, I was trained in the following leadership rolls:
Peer Support: In this roll I was trained to support my fellow listeners after a hard chat.
I had other leadership rolls there as well.
I retired from 7cups back in Dec of 2024.
In Jan of 2025 I became a Mental Health Peer Ambassador at NoStigmas.
I was there for 6 months.
I was trained as a Peer/Mental Health Specialist/Advocate. Certified as well.
I go back for more peer training, when time allows me to.
