We had a great build up of dark clouds in the west. I keep hoping I'll see a funnel cloud when I have a camera at hand, but no luck. It just rained hard for about 15 minutes. It has been hot and is expected to get hotter over the weekend. I had a neighbor once who hated the climate in the Midwest. She said the temperatures vacillated between Antarctica and hell. She was right.

Here in the midlands we where lucky to miss the bad thunder storms the weather forcaster had predicted for last night and today we have so far had a couple of little showers but other than that it's dry and fairly warm!

Has been showery in the midlands, and when it's not raining it's been overcast but getting warmer, may get some sunshine for end of July and into August! Fingers crossed!! :ohmy:
