Hi there! I’m someone who believes in making the most out of life, no matter what challenges come my way. I have asthma, but I don’t let that define me just one part of my story. I enjoy connecting with others, sharing laughs, and finding joy in the little things. I value honesty, kindness, and people who see strength in being real. Looking forward to meeting others who embrace life with courage and a smile!
I have a condition called reflex sympathetic dystrophy in my right ankle and foot. It leaves me in pain permanently. I try to have a positive outlook on life, but it is not easy when I am in pain all the time.

Aspergers Syndrome
Dear Ablehere.
I'm Chris. I've got Cerebral Palsy, Hydrocephalus, Dyspraxia and Asperger's. Together, they make of me an ugly bar steward(!) which is all people seem to see (think Elephant Man, if you've seen the movie, that's my story. All that happened to him's happened to me for real.) Had all my teeth kicked out, head caved in, been beaten up loads, had all my flats save this one burgled empty and boiling water chucked over me, giving me permanent ulcers. Despite the ugliness, I think of me as a nice person - I want to learn how to get others PAST the ugliness, to give me a shot at joining in before I'm too old to care! Only found out about you 10 mins ago, as I write this, wanted to give you a shot, see if you hate me because I'm ugly, too.
Yours respectfully,
Chris.

My name is Julia and I come from Sweden. I am completely blind, but I do not let my disability stop me from accomplishing my goals. I use the computer with the help of a screen reading software called JAWS. This software translates everything that's on the screen into braille that I can then read with a special braille display that is connected to the computer. I have a Master's degree in Human Ecology. Generally, I am more of a listener than a speaker, but I always enjoy interacting with people and discussing a wide range of topics.
