I am a Quadriplegic and I walk, drive and do most normal things.
I have genetic disorder called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. It causes faulty connective tissues (found throughout multiple areas if the body) causing a wide range of issues including acute and chronic daily pain, difficulty with mobility, osteoathritis, dysautonomia to name just a few,.actually ;) I hope to be able to help others who might be new to this disorder (considered rare, but in fact is simply seldom recognized) Also I'd like to connect with a variety of people to share support and understanding for those whose lives have also become much smaller and withdrawn because of health issues.

I am 47 Disabled mostly bedridden looking for other people to talk to and to make friends I am on the spectrum and I like gaming Fortnite , Red Dead and basketball
I was born with Ectodermal Dysplasia. I have no sweat glands. Overheating causes me to become catatonic for up to 20 hours. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg that is me. Due to this condition, I’m a shut-in. I’ve had Covid 5 times, and I now have Long Covid. But I am starting to recover. I’ve had Fibromyalgia since 2001, but I have almost completely gotten over it and no longer experience symptoms. At 15 months old I took a header out of my crib and damaged my spinal cord. The growth area of all of my cervical vertebrae were damaged and never developed correctly. So, my head lists to the right a bit. I can’t feel the temperature, which makes life interesting. I have no balance, which can be fun if your game. And I have no depth perception or spatial orientation. Other than that I get around and function fairly well. And I am grateful for that.
