This flu is taking out the whole of mankind slowly!! All that will be left is a box of man size tissue!! Who thought of the name 'man size tissues'and why? They need a 'man size' slap for such a stupid name!! :huh:

Oh Amanda, whoever designed this year's flu vaccine failed miserably. My daughter had what you have and she is only 25 and peed herself while coughing. On Christmas Day I watched a map of the world online that showed reports of the various types of flu around the world. The cities with the largest reports of of stomach flu were Minneapolis (my area), Philadelphia and London. I seriously thought I was going to die in the bathroom. And then I got very worried about what my family would put in my obituary!

I'm today in even more pain than usual. Yesterday i was walking on the road coz the path was way too slippy and a car going past me decided to beep his horn at me. Well i jumped out of my skin, my right crutch slipped on a bit of ice and my leg gave way and i fell over. Good job my bums a bit bigger after christmas, lol. Well it took me about 10mins to get up and now im bruised and in pain.

Can't wait till the snow and ice goes away!!

Gale, I'm so sorry you had that fall! I also have chronic pain and I don't even like to leave the house when there is a chance of falling. I have fibromyalgia and am having a pain flare with this terrible windy cold weather in the US (Wisconsin). I think today will be a day with a lot of hot cocoa, tea and 2 pairs of socks!

Oh galeforce! You poor thing! I don't go outside when the weather is like this, and the news is not good with the weather forcast saying it is going to be like this for the rest of January!! So best you stay home and only go out when absolutly need to. Hope your bruises go quickly and don't hurt too much.

I've been feeling a bit better lately. My fibro pain isn't as bad as usual. I also just finished getting all my income tax stuff done and sent to the accountant. What a relief. I'm a nervous wreck when I'm doing tax prep. It's so complicated in the US, even if you have a tiny little business. Just glad it's over for another year.

Just pulling out of the flare from HELL. I went out shopping a week ago yesterday, for about 2 hours. Came home and proceded to go into a fibro flare that had me popping pain pills like jelly beans for about 4 days, then I slept for 2. Up and a bit better today, but it is snowing out. That icky, wet, not even pretty to look at snow.
