For my studies I'll be designing a product which is aimed towards disabled persons, especially people in a wheelchair, who go camping. Unfortunatly I don't have any experience with the subject and I was hoping you guys can maybe help me. I have a few questions, which I'm hoping some of you can answer.
Thanks in advance!
- What are the major problems you encounter when you'd go camping
- Are there any campsites which are fully free of problems for you at the moment
- Do you have any ideas for products which would significantly improve your camping experience?
- Would you consider any form of backpacking in a wheelchair?
When my family goes camping, I always ask them to bring a camping chair with us instead of a wheelchair, there's enough space in the car for that. I use a camping chair that was initially designed for people with a bad back. I don't remember the model for now, but here's the list of good models: activegeardirect.com/top-5-camping-chairs-for-bad-backs/ Hope that can be useful at least a bit.
