The thing I remember is when my Mum used to say\"If you eat all your crusts, it will make your hair curl\" she lied:(
Thats as big a lie as propagander during the war saying that Our pilots could see better because they ate carrots....All rubbish with no scientific support...It was to detract from the Germans knowing that we had discovered Radar xxxx

when I was growing up and even as an adult it seems looking back that Ignorence was really blist
example
when going into hospital we put are selfs in the hands of nurses doctors and surgions.. we relaxed there was no stress we felt pampered..we know by the uniforms that a student nurse had one band around her nurses hat..she was not responsable for medication they mainly made beds done the mandain jobs ect ect thy where respected and loved by the patiants..they know she would reach the next grade through experiance
the next nurse up wore 2 bands and they went around with the fully fledged nurses and the staff nurse to learn to take more responsobilites and to put into practise what they had been taught
the last one was a fully fledge nurse with 3 bands they had passed all the grades she had all the resonsobility except in complecated matters
the staff nurses and ward sisters where the main ones
but the one who was responsiable for them all and the care of the the patients for the smooth runing.and cleanness on the wards was the ward sisters..behind them was matron in charge of them all
because we trusted them all it seemed we got better quicker and where not sent home untill we where better ..xxx I still love all the nursing staff but have no idea who are the nuring staff and who are the penpushers and adminsration ppl

I and many other ppl of diffrent age groups are not wring there hands or lossing sleep worrying about the rights and wrongs of other countrys and there probs. I am not worried about it now nor worried about it yrs ago ..we are still more concerned about the UK about bringing up family, working and making the best of life...things are not perfect here and there are loads of proplems here..it is appaling that there are ppl living on the streets ,ppl having to wait yrs to get on the housing list..that there are UK charitys having to ask the public for help, ppl unemployed ect ect in a country which is suppose to be rich..
