While we're on a 'Low', here's "Marvin" (the paranoid android) from "The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy" (Original BBC radio series). This was a spinoff, cash-in, record release...

(Trying a new way of posting today's eclectic 'mix', seeing if I can create a text file with all the information within it.)
TomTom Club - "Wordy rappinghood"
As a young man, the Cold War gave me nightmares - literally.
I like music from many eras. Sorry about that.
Something that combines my interest in electronica and Sci Fi.
(Scientifically rubbish of course - but it's just a song!)

Only one 'song' from me today. I 'discovered' this young man on Youtube just a couple of hours ago. He has made shed loads of videos, many featuring his own music, and some spoken word. From what I have seen so far, he comes across as an intelligent and interesting person. He can't really be 'judged' properly by this one offering - which is a fine implimentation of the 'Rap' genre IMHO. The 'details' of this 'song' are up for debate, but if you chose to engage him, I think you'd get a pretty civil, non-offensive response.

There are quite a few "FlashMob" (unannounced public performance) vids on Youtube. Good to see our Russian cousins getting into the spirit. Beats 'community singing' at the local 'Scout hut' imo...

A master of musical diversity, and not a 'dud' in sight as far as I'm aware...

The last track had no real percussion in it. Something for 'old school' drum freaks.

Some easily dismissable 80's pop.

Great song Sandie. Thought I 'knew' Billy Fury, but this one was an 'education', so thanks! Thanks also for starting this 'thread'. I think it's obvious that I love posting here. It's good to get a helping of other people's tastes - wish more people would do it, I might get 'toned down'. (No bad thing!). Please keep posting - this was your idea!
