TOPIC: Migraines

When my epilepsy started I also started getting migraines, I don't know if anyone else gets these? My G.P said 'it was part and parcel of my epilepsy!' I always get them intermittently and they last from 24 to 48hrs and I get sick with them. But since my accident last year they have been becoming more intense and last longer. I had one start on Saturday afternoon and it progressed quickly and the pain was intense and I was vomiting a lot. I couldn't leave my room till Monday and it totally wiped me out I was really weak from vomiting so much and my head was still sore. Even still today as I type I feel so yuk and tired. I intend to see my G.P about them as they are coming more often now instead of a couple every 2 - 3 months I'm getting at least one a month. Does anyone else suffer I would like to know?

Have you talked about it with your neurologist or eptologists( epilepsy specialis t) they are often more knowledgeable with migraines. It could be a separate condition being triggered by other things. These two conditions are often seen together.
