Milly Marshall-Kirkwood was just 5-years-old when she underwent open heart surgery to help manage complications caused by her rare condition, Marfan Syndrome. Now 13, and in her first year of high school, Milly manages her own physical health and needs while supporting her dad Rob to run the family home. Since recently losing her beloved mum Paula to bowel cancer, Milly has taken on new responsibilities beyond her 13 years.
