My name is Steph: I live and work in London. At 7 months old I caught viral meningitis and when eventually recovered was left with Cerebral Palsy. It's mainly my right side which is affected but my left side compensates for my right, so... both sides!

I use a wheelchair for long distances.

I'd like to meet other disabled people. I'm interested in what makes a disability a disability - is it the physicality, or the way we're perceived by others?

Also would like to share experiences/advice etc.

It'd be nice to talk and make some new friends!

Regarding "what makes a disability a disability - is it the physicality, or the way we're perceived by others?" This is a good question, can you add this question in the debating section on the forum?
