To share a problem with a 'devils advocate' can be a relief to the other person, and possibly broaden their way of tackling a subject / problem..

sorry .... i dont it taken me some time and after hearing ur views to am still not sure to be honest
i thinks easier online than in person. i once had a relationship with someone online it was great but then when we did meet it all went pear shaped and we saw each other in a different way ... i guess what am saying is that u can make the person into something they not in your mind and its easier to see what u want to see in a person
so is that loving the person u think u know or the person u want them to be ..

Ah yes Cheeky I agree with you there, but you broke the thin red line between cyber and reality, I'm refering to having common bond of online friendship, no matter how close or deep it went..
I was of course refering only to the cyber world..once you make a physical connection,, that's a new ball game although in your case it all misfired and to that end..I feel sorry for you and the outcome....hence a close friendship - online only..:ohmy:

i just meant that u get to know a person who u think u no really well but in reality are they different.. they think, act, see things different in every day life then when talkin over the net.

eg. they could even be lending a whole different life (wife/husband and kids etc) so there fore all that u thought was right and loved no long is real or exisists... so did u love that person in the first place or the person u thought they was?

Yes!, I see your point and logic and in lots of cases true..but in my previous cases (not many I hasten to add)..I make my circumstances very clear from the start, I make it understood I want nothing more than online chat / possible friendship..but whatever was spoken online was to a point, confidential converation and in trust..and any questions asked got straight honest answers in return..I am not about to deceive anybody, although many do, that's a fact..and I cartainly make it clear that I want NO meets at all..
BUT if you go..make sure your chaperioned and in a public place..but that's all in the past now for you.

u do get honest striaght forward people like ur self... but not every one is the same and if ur lucky enought to find someone like that then good luck and wish them all the best and if someone honestly cares abt someone they no on line thats fine and its not for me to stay other wise .... i wud stay good luck and has all my friends am there if they need me
