Did anyone see You Don't Know Jack on HBO this past weekend and if so, what did you think about it?
I had a horribly hard time getting permission to even buy the book 18 years ago (before my accident), and I don't think Final Exit could have ever been ripped apart worse by the media than this book that was never about \"how\" to kill yourself, but instead about the right to choose when we've had enough and when we're ready to scoot on down the road. You Don't Know Jack is the real story about the man who gave his life (for not one single dime in his pocket) for bringing a topic to the forefront that we all should at least talk about one way or the other.
It's a hot potato, but worth talking about I think.
