i am a litte bit a shy at the beginnig but it will improve over time
I'm 30. Male. I've been in Chronic Pain from a motorcycle accident for about a decade now. I also have a Spinal Cord Stimulator.
First and foremost I'd like to make it clear that I am not looking for a relationship. I have a beautiful fiance, who loves me very much, and I her.
I'm in intense pain everyday of my life. My days are compromised scenarios of "How much pain do I want to be in later?" and "How much is this going to hurt? But on top of the pain, the function of my right leg from the knee down is nil. I use a cane and/or wheelchair full-time.
I still work, and I try to be as positive as I can be. I try to focus on the things that I can do and be proud of myself for doing them, rather than sulking on everything that I can't do.
Don't be offended if I don't want to talk over the phone a lot. Unfortunately, the time slot that I would have to communicate with you would be at night, when my pain the greatest, so a lot of the time I don't have the energy for formal conversation.
I think that if you were to ask one of my friends to describe me, they'd tell you that I'm funny, cool to be around, and a genuinely nice guy.
I'd like to meet someone whom might be in the same situation as myself. I can offer guidance, encouragement and understanding for those whom experience chronic pain on a daily basis.
I don't care what race you are. I don't care what sex you are, and I certainly don't care what your sexual orientation may or may not be.
